The Amazon is the largest tropical forest in the world with an unequalled stock of biodiversity. It is also a region where there is a high investment potential. With its strategic location, the State of Roraima is an export route to Venezuela and to the markets in the Caribbean, Guyana, Mexico and the United States. The highway network that serves the State also enables areas with potential for the production of grains, tropical fruits and cassava starch and fish breeding to be connected.
The infrastructure supply, with energy available from the Guri hydroelectric plant, in Venezuela, is also one of Roraima’s strategic differentials, as it is ready to receive projects in the industrial, agro-industrial and ecotourism areas.
The mountain ranges, forests, waterfalls and cave paintings of the Mount Roraima National Park are the highlights of a segment with a strong potential for growth: ecological and adventure tourism.
