ORGANIZATION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The steps to be taken for holding these seminars are divided into three distinct groups: general coordination, program organization and operationalization.

6.1- General Coordination
a) This is SUFRAMA’S responsibility and involves defining the general directives, planning and following up on the steps taken, collecting the contributions about the thematic content and the speakers, and ensuring that the objectives of each seminar are coherent and in keeping with the general objectives of the seminars as a whole, in accordance with its Term of Reference;
b) This coordination is carried out by the Economic and Corporate Studies Department (COGEC) and a technical support team made up of Suframa’s staff and collaborators. This team aims to perform a number of tasks, including ensuring that there is a SUFRAMA representative present at the time of the event to act as a link to the general coordination and attend to any last-minute operational needs.

6.2- Program organization
a) The Technical and Academic Partners, which are institutions that SUFRAMA has invited to provide support for this initiative as a consequence of their involvement in actions in the technical and scientific progress of the region, are responsible for this aspect. The institution in question could be an academic unit from a university, a basic or technological research unit, a specific public agency unit, a professional, trade or business association, a company, a bank or any other private entity;
b) The responsibilities of these partners are centered on each seminar’s cognitive content and program, in accordance with a pre-defined format. This involves: structuring the types of content (panels, lectures) to fit in with the scope of the seminar, identifying and interacting with the specialists, ensuring that the presentations are compatible with the seminar’s objectives, reviewing the texts of each presentation, monitoring the presentations and gathering material for the annals;
c) The program definition process for each seminar is carried out based on the assumption that there may be changes at any time before it takes place.

6.3- Operationalization involves the actions that make the programs that have been developed really take place. Two different entities are involved in carrying out these steps: the event management company that won the tender process (contracted company) and the support institutions (that provide the auditoriums since the official place where the event is held - Studio 5 Shopping Mall - does not have enough rooms available for holding the seminars).
