Interiorization
The development in the city of Manaus, after the setting up of the Free Trade Zone project, has been extended to the other states in the Western Amazon Region and to Macapá-Santana, which are the areas covered by Suframa.
The way found to achieve this objective has been to make it possible to sustainably use its economic potential. This guarantees the generation of new jobs and improved income distribution.
To expand its actions as a regional development agency, Suframa, in partnership with the Getúlio Vargas Foundation, has carried out a Regional potentialities Study, to identify the economically feasible business opportunities and the necessary infrastructure in the area surveyed.
The activities identified are recommended to local, national and international investors, who are interested in developing businesses in the region. These are given guidance together with quantitative and qualitative information about the intended activity.
